Being a commercial dispute resolution lawyer, I have always been driven by a strong desire to be a part of the solution and not the problem. “Lawyers are so expensive and legal fees are too unpredictable“, I have heard this comment way too often throughout my career, which is unfortunately true to a large extent. To enable clients to really spend time with their lawyers without the fear of being charged every six minutes (sometimes by multiple lawyers), our firm completely eliminates the traditionally hourly fee structure and adopts a fixed/staged fee charging model. This unique and innovative model allows me to build a collaborative and healthy relationship by spending more time with clients to understand their concerns and to focus on delivering practical and commercial legal solutions for them with full transparency and certainty on costs.

Jack is a triple-qualified lawyer and an associate at bowers.law in the commercial disputes resolution team with experience in advising on civil and commercial litigation, international arbitration, debt recovery, employment and regulatory investigations.

Prior to joining the firm, Jack was trained at a national firm in Australia and has worked at two leading international law firms in Hong Kong.
