Personal Statement

I have always been driven by stories which explains my background in film and humanities. In legal practice, I have found dispute resolution to be the most emblematic of the human experience. I am able to study closely the factual matrix of a case which could often be the plotline of a film. The novelty of ever-changing case facts and the versatility of legal knowledge engaged in each case are conducive to my growth as a well-rounded lawyer who is able to identify key issues right-away.

Profile

Victoria has a strong interest in dispute resolution and contentious regulatory practices. During her traineeship, she was exposed to a wide range of dispute resolution matters at various stages and different levels of courts in commercial / shareholder disputes, insolvency, civil fraud, SFC and ICAC regulatory matters.

Being able to work independently with minimal supervision is one of her best qualities having been trained in a boutique firm.

At bowers.law Victoria has been involved in cases involving conspiracy to defraud, defamation, debt recovery and contentious and non-contentious employment.
