Personal Statement

Giya is diligent, passionate about the law and adopts a hands-on, “can do” approach to her work at all times. During her time at CUHK, Giya received various scholarships including The C I Stapleton Scholarship 2020/21 and Brave Wind Scholarship 2019/20.

Furthermore, Giya is self-motivated and has gained experience in both the private and public legal sector, having worked with law firms, barristers-at-law and the Legal Aid Department. Through these experiences, Giya developed strong teamwork, communication, research and drafting skills. She is committed to applying these skills to achieve excellent results for the firm’s clients. In her spare time, Giya enjoys reading and exploring new places in this city she calls home.

Profile

Giya graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Honours in 2021 and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) in 2022. Giya joined the firm as a Trainee Solicitor in August 2022.
